Heading off towards the Northern area of Box, which was the last area to be worked.
These stone tunnels were impressive, especially as they were only held up by gravity.
'Iron Door', the entrance to 'Cliftworks'.
Ben leads the way over the rock fall.
The boys inspect the fantastic Crab Winch. Being the last area to have stone quarried from it, Cliftworks contains the most artefacts.
Max forgets which way to point his torch. Either that or he's got an itchy nose!
Max sharpens the teeth of a 'Frig Bob', a saw used for cutting the rock.
This was the stone face abandoned in 1969. You can see how neatly they removed the stone.
