Beaconsfield ROC Post
27th October 2007
The boys were so impressed with the condition of the bunker that they insisted on be taken there themselves, so ten days later we were back.

The boys open the hatch, whilst Nicole looks on.

Ben heads down.

Nicole watches Ben descend.

Ben at the bottom.

Nicole still watching...

Max at the bottom.

Still watching... Despite our best efforts, Nicole refused to go down. One day she'll be begging me to take her down there, (I hope!)

One of the tell-tale signs of a nearby nuclear bunker - a solitary telegraph pole carrying no wires. The CCTV camera was aimed at the bunker, but the wire from it only seemed to go to the top of the pole. We waved at it just in case it was working!

Another ROC Post conquered.
