Old Warden Tunnel
Part 4
Rather than going via the roads, we decided to head back to the car via the tunnel.
This was one of the very few objects in the tunnel, although not close enough to the sandy section to make sand castles!
This rather rotten shoe was right in the middle of the tunnel.
We couldn't work out where this pipe had fallen from, but it looked to be of a similar age to the tunnel.
Ben insisted on walking great chunks of the way back with the torches switched off. After I had tripping up several times, I persuaded him to use a torch!

All in all we spent a couple of hours exploring the tunnel and surrounding area, and will no doubt be visiting again soon.
