Kings Langley ROC Monitoring Post
(Opened 1959, Closed 1991)
This post is situated a little way north east of Watford, and was easily found about 50 yards to the west of the lay-by where we parked the car.
Happy boys again.
Except the smiles soon disappeared when we realised that the access shaft had been filled with earth and concrete.
"This is rubbish Dad. Why did you bring us here?"
We set out to find four ROC Monitoring Posts, managed to find all of them, and got in to two of them. A highly successful weekend of exploration.
